Funny thing happened during my vacation to Montreal…  my photo of the day project came to a screeching halt and it’s been difficult to come back and post things after 200+ days of consecutive ramblings…

My break may last a little longer with me signing up for NaNoWriMo.

So the day is quickly drawing to a close and I’m sitting next to Fin as she drives us into Memphis.  The day has been a long one… I woke up at 3:30 am to finish up packing and prepping the house for our house sitter.  We split town around 5:15pm…

The trip has been a memorable one thus far..  Fin agreed to make a little detour to visit Paris, Texas. A little town that I’ve always wanted to visit… I have some great photos and mini-movies to share but it may be a little while before I get to post those goodies.

Looking really forward to saying goodbye to Arkansas….  more later.

It’s finally here, the big trip is tomorrow and I’m frantically getting things together for our house sitter!

Caught up with my friend Heather this evening…  there’s been so much going on with our upcoming trip and Heather’s been busy on her end – living it up in nYc.  We don’t get to talk with the frequency that we once had but its good to know we can just jump start good conversation without any trouble…

On the couch watching the Mets close out a disappointing season  all the while watching it with my Mets shirt on.  I’ve had this shirt for ages and have yet to find a decent replacement for it.

Fin and I stepped out for dinner this evening and while on the road it  occurred to me that I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of the day.

Fin came thru in a pinch and took a snapshot of me driving over to the RIM.

Shortly after having dinner with Fin this evening, we walk over to her car to discover that some ass-puppet decided to hock a loogie on the rear passenger window of her car.   I looked pretty fresh but we managed to not catch the person who did it.

What I would have given to punch them in the throat.

We ended up going over to a local carwash and sat inside for the show.

took about 32 years but I’m at the point where I could use a daily shave on portions of my face…  I took a one day break and I’m feeling skrrrrah-pae!
